What is your focus and intention this holiday season?

Merry Christmas, Happy Hanukkah, Happy Kwanza, Happy New Year, and happy overall holiday season!

I first want to start off this week’s newsletter just saying thank you! Thank you for your time, energy, and attention this year as we kicked off “What I Wish I Knew” and also for my first full year of being full time with Alo Civitas Consulting. This year has been a big year of growth and I could not have done it without each and every one of you, so THANK YOU from the bottom of my heart.

Thank U GIF

As we are full swing into the holiday season, I wanted to ask, what are your intentions for the next week as we wrap up 2024, head into 2025, and hopefully reflect and plan? If we do not set intentions, how do we know when or if we have reached them? My intentions for this week and next week are to be as present as possible wherever I am. My husband works most of this week and next so we are doing some nontraditional holiday celebrations but that is okay. We are going to enjoy the time we have and be present where we are. When we are facetiming family, painting together (we have been getting into paint by number paintings again and so fun), playing video games, watching football, and celebrating with our local Columbus friends, we want to be fully present. I also am being intentional with taking a few days off. The work I do (and probably what you do too) is very mission and purpose driven for me which is wonderful. HOWEVER, it is still important to disconnect, recharge, and know that the work will still be there when I get back. We are not designed to work 24/7.

So I ask again, what are your intentions for the next week and a half or so?

Also, we are going to be doing some giveaways through instagram over the next two weeks so please follow us on instagram @alocivitas if you haven’t already because you are not going to want to miss out!

As we gear up for next year, I want to ask you… what kind of content do you want to see more of? I love to write, teach, and share and want to make sure you are getting the content you want and need to grow personally and/or professionally. Please reply with what kind of content or concepts you want to see more of next year!

See you all in 2025!
